A residential home in Wales has been identified as the possible source of a deadly bout of influenza.
Police investigating deaths at a nursing home in Llangollen said that the four-week series of fatalities were the result of a strain of Influenza A.
Tests are now being conducted into the incident in a bid to discern more information, but the incident has highlighted the importance of care for those susceptible to such diseases.
Police, who have been working with the council, public protection officers and the Care Standards Inspectorate, said that all agencies had co-operated, with a joint statement confirming that position.
"The Headlands Nursing Home management and staff has fully co-operated with the authorities and continue to do so," they declared.
