Residential home care inhabitants have teamed up with an arts development department in Aberdeen to embark on a new artistic skills project.
Aberdeen City Council reports that the residents, who come from Aberdeen's Dee View Court, have followed the theme of water in their work.
This is because the works will surround the centre's hydrotherapy centre, acting as decorative blinds to screen the area.
Community Arts Officers Mandy Clarke and Alison Watson were among thos ehleping ouot with the works, together with the help of recreational therapy experts.
Ms Clarke said the project had proved "a lot of fun for the residents".
"It has given them a real sense of achievement and ownership of the hydrotherapy room and they are rightly very proud of their creations and the final artwork," she added.
An official unveiling will take place today at the centre. |
